Please open the attached website to sign a petition against the “Freedom of Choice” Act that Barack Obama has promised to sign into law during his 1st 100 days of office. This law will overturn the ban on the Partial Birth Abortion procedure. For those of you unfamiliar with what a partial birth abortion actually is, I have listed the steps at the end of this email. This is a live baby and the abortionist has to be “careful” to not deliver the head as killing the baby at that point would then be considered murder. What has our society come to that we can rationalize this? This is nothing short of a holocaust. Please be one of the powerful to speak for the powerless.

This law will also impose federal funding of abortions and remove parental notification for minor daughters having abortions. Following a minor injury, I was called up to school this year to administer ibuprofen to my daughter in middle school. Like most school administrators in our country, they couldn’t give her an Advil without parental consent but the “Freedom of Choice†Act will allow minors to have an abortion – an invasive and emotionally charged procedure – without parental notification. The Partial Birth Abortion procedures:

A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby’s leg with forceps. (Remember this is a live baby)
B. The baby’s leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
C. The abortionist delivers the baby’s entire body, except for the head.
D. The abortionist presses scissors into the baby’s skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole.
E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The baby’s brains are suctioned out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed
