Sounds very much like Joseph Campbell. Very relativistic. Brain washing so many people these days. Claims to be a “Christian” yet doesn’t follow any of the hallmarks of the Christian faith. Completely conforms to the whole “God is love” idea that is floating around these days. Maybe she’s been hanging out with George Lucas and watching Star Wars too much. The “force” is everywhere, in everyone…

It just saddens me that so many moms are watching Oprah and seem to think that she is so innocent because most of the time they do not talk about religion or Jesus. I pray and hope that American Christian Mothers will stop watching and listening to Oprah because she is always dangerous with a doctrine like this, and we should simply pray for her and hope that God would grant her life and redemption so that she would be someone worth while listening to and watching. But until then, she is dangerous and a false teacher who needs to be cut off from Christians homes.

Oh goodness. Honestly…
So now Baptists put God in a box, God is not jealous, He can’t be because that doesn’t “feel right” in our spirit, and it’s about a feeling experience, not a believing experience.
That is so ridiculous. I agree with Brandon that so many people believe her to be so innocent because she rarely talks about her religion. But the truth is, she holds her beliefs and it’s good for us to be aware of them.

Oprah was (mis)named after Naomi’s other daughter-in-law. It seems a more appropriate name than “Ruth” would’ve been.
