BTW, when I was in Kenya, I found it interesting that Kenyan Christians tended to ask, What does this passage mean to us. They don’t have as much of that rabid individualism that plagues western Christianity (at least, not yet… although there were some bad indications that they’re moving somewhat in that direction).
