Evangelism and the Postmodern

Michael Patton has posted a great summary of Erickson’s new book, Postmodernizing the Faith.

Here is an excerpt from the book.

How do we engage postmodernism? I believe that we meet people where they are and bring them the essential Christ. The options will be relative to the situation. Therefore, there is no one option that is always right or wrong.

We are all postmoderns to some degree and we need to learn to empathize with their concerns if we are going to gain an audience. If we don’t do this, none of these options will really help.

Go here for the entire article and then pray that God would lead you to those that need to see the “essential Christ.”
